Setting up the drone operational area away from the ignition area, but at a location
that can easily be defended in case of fire.
•
Have fire extinguishing and fire safety equipment and processes at the drone operational
area.
•
Be aware of where the drone may fly in case the drone loses communication and per-
forms an automatic return to home (if configured to do so).
•
Be aware of your surroundings and to maintain visual line of sight of both the drone
and the ignition area.
•
Abide by any and all recommendations from the drone manufacturer.
•
Follow all fire and drone operational recommendations and best practices.
•
Follow all federal, state, and local regulations.
