4. Connect Head Spring and Foot Spring Pull Tube to provide the up/down motion/adjustment of the Head
and Foot Spring Sections:
A. Extend the Head Spring Pull Tube and connect to the Head Spring Lift Arm. Secure in place with the
tethered locking pin and clip
B. Extend the Foot Spring Pull Tube and connect to the Foot Spring Lift Arm.
Secure in place with the tethered locking pin and clip
NOTE: Extend the inner pull tube until the spring button “clicks” into the adjustment hole of the outer tube.
The spring button should protrude through the adjustment hole and the clevis pin of the now extended pull
tube arm will line up with the lift arm slot.
If the Head or Foot Spring fail to elevate once assembled, check that the spring button is properly aligned and
locked into the adjustment hole (C).
