Warranty
Any work on or installation of replacement parts must be
performed by an authorized Drive Medical dealer/cus-
tomer service employee.
In order for the warranty to apply, please contact your
Drive Medical dealer/customer service employee if your
scooter requires customer service.
If a part of the scooter should require repair or the scoot-
er needs to be replaced in whole or in part due to a man-
ufacturing or material error within 24 months of receipt of
the scooter, replacement parts will then be delivered free
of charge.
The repaired or replaced parts are covered by this war-
ranty for the warranty period of the scooter. Parts subject
to wear are generally not covered during the normal war-
ranty period unless the parts need repair or replacement
which became necessary as a clear, direct consequence
of a manufacturing or material error.
Parts subject to wear include (among others):
Cushions, tires, motor brushes and batteries.
The above warranty conditions apply to a new scooter
which was purchased for the full sales price. If you are
unsure whether your scooter is covered by the warranty,
please inquire with the customer service employee.
Under normal circumstances, we do not accept respon-
sibility if the scooter does not work as a direct conse-
quence of the following:
The scooter or a part of it was not maintained according
to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Original parts were not used.
The scooter or a part was damaged as a result of negli-
gence, an accident, or improper use.
Please note that the contact information of your local cus-
tomer service employee are in the field on the back. If
your scooter requires customer service, contact the local
customer service employee and provide all relevant de-
tails so that he/she can respond quickly.
