5. PREPARING FOR USE

Before attempting to use the functions of the chair, ensure these 

instructions have been read and fully understood.

Warning

•   Clear the intended area for the chair of any obstructions and ensure the  

  surface is level.
•  Apply the brakes to the castors.

5.1 Positioning the Chair

Ensure all cables are free from moving parts and are not under 

excessive tension.

Warning

Once the chair has been delivered and positioned, ensure the chair is checked 
before use:

5.2 Checking the Chair

•   Ensure there is no obvious damage to the chair.
•  Has all packaging been removed? e.g. cable ties/Velcro securing the    
  platform  sections.
•   Ensure the chair and all accessories are at room temperature.
•  Ensure the chair has been cleaned and disinfected (page 18).
•  Ensure the cables are routed appropriately.   

 

 

•  Check all functionality of the chair in association with these instructions for  
 use.
