6.5 Operating the Leg Extension
• Place both hands either side of the
section (indicated by number 1 on
the figure on the right) and pull the
upholstered section in a parallel
direction with the leg frame (2).
• The section will extend and lock in 5
pre-set positions.
• In order to retract the leg section,
push from the bottom of the
upholstered section toward the leg
pivot points.
6.6 Leg Section Retraction and Minimum Height
The design of the leg section extension allows for retraction if lowered onto
an obstruction. The minimum height when fully retracted (as indicated by the
red arrow) is 58mm.
Care must be taken when operating the height
adjustment of the chair, any obstructions must
be removed and feet kept clear of the moving
parts. The retraction of the legs is intended
as a safeguard which gives the operator/
user a degree of warning as to any clashing
obstructions.
Warning
• When the leg is fully retracted, there
should be a final click of the ball detent
and the platform will be able to go no
further.
