Safety Rules for Charging
T h i s m a n u a l c o n t a i n s
instructions for power
adapter model 510.
If power adapter is not
included, only charge tool using a listed Class
2 USB power adapter rated 5V/1A minimum.
B e f o r e u s i n g p o w e r a d a p t e r , r e a d a l l
instructions and cautionary markings on
(1) power adapter, and (2) product using
battery.
Charge only Dremel PawControl 7760-PGK.
Other types of cordless tools may burst
causing personal injury and damage.
Charge tool in temperatures above +32
degrees F (0 degrees C) and below +113
degrees F (45 degrees C). Store tool in
locations where temperatures will not
exceed 122 degrees F (50 degrees C).
This
is important to prevent serious damage to
the battery cells.

adapter to rain or snow.
Water entering
power adapter may result in electric shock
or fire.
Battery leakage may occur under extreme
usage or temperature conditions. Avoid
contact with skin and eyes.
The battery
liquid is caustic and could cause chemical
burns to tissues. If liquid comes in contact
w i t h s k i n , w a s h q u i c k l y w i t h s o a p a n d
water. If the liquid contacts your eyes, flush
t h e m w i t h w a t e r f o r a m i n i m u m o f 1 0
minutes and seek medical attention.
Place tool on flat nonflammable surfaces
and away from flammable materials when
r e c h a r g i n g .
C a r p e t i n g a n d o t h e r h e a t
i n s u l a t i n g s u r f a c e s b l o c k p r o p e r a i r
circulation, which may cause overheating of
the power adapter and tool. If smoke or
melting of the power adapter or tool is
observed, unplug the charger immediately
and do not use the tool or charger. Contact
customer service immediately.
Make sure that USB cable is located so
that it will not be stepped on, tripped over,
o r o t h e r w i s e s u b j e c t e d t o d a m a g e o r
stress.
Damaged plug and cable may result
in electric shock or fire.
D i s c o n n e c t t h e t o o l f r o m t h e p o w e r
adapter by pulling the plug rather than the
cable. Do not operate power adapter with
damaged USB cable or plug; have them
replaced immediately.
Damaged plug or

Do not disassemble power adapter or
o p e r a t e t h e p o w e r a d a p t e r i f i t h a s
received a sharp blow, been dropped or
otherwise damaged in anyway.
Incorrect
reassembly or damage may result in electric

Before each use, check the power supply,
USB cable and plug. If damage is detected,
do not use the power adapter. Never open
the power adapter yourself, take it to a

qualified serviceman only using original
spare parts.

Do not use attachments not recommended
or sold by Dremel.
Using attachments not
recommended may result in electric shock

Unplug tool from power adapter when
battery in tool is fully charged.
Tool left
plugged in the power adapter over a long
period of time could lead to tool damage
and fire.
Unplug power adapter from outlet before
storage, attempting any maintenance or
cleaning.
Such preventive safety measures
reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.
Keep the power adapter clean by wiping it
with a damp cloth.
Contamination may
result in electric shock or fire.
Replace battery pack if a substantial drop in
o p e r a t i n g t i m e p e r c h a r g e i s o b s e r v e d .
Battery pack may be nearing the end of its life.
▶ Battery Care
When batteries are not
in tool, keep them away
from metal objects.
For example, to protect
terminals from shorting
DO NOT
place
batteries in a tool box or pocket with nails,
screws, keys, etc. Fire or injury may result.
DO NOT PUT BATTERIES INTO FIRE OR
EXPOSE TO HIGH HEAT.
Exposure to fire or
to temperatures above 265°F (130°C) may
cause explosion.
