Connection Setup via Modem

Connection Setup via Modem

External modem

The 61000 is connected for modem operation by installation of an optional external
land-based modem device and connection of the local telephone line to the RJ-45
10BaseT communications port. Model 61MDM external modem is available in
Dranetz-BMI as an optional accessory for the 61000.

Modem communication is also possible through an optional GSM service for wireless
communication. This service is provided by user, not by Dranetz-BMI.

Reference guide

Remote operation instructions for modem connection are contained in the Encore
Series Software User’s Guide. It describes operation of the 61000 with all connections
being made correctly and the unit fully operational.
