9.1.2. M and B+M
In order to start B+M mode press the [B+M mode]
button on the mode panel.
In order to switch between B+M and M modes press
[B+M Mode] button and choose [M/B+M] from
submenu.
9.1.3. Doppler modes: Color Doppler, Power Doppler and Pulse Wave Doppler
To start the Doppler mode press the [Doppler] button on the modes bar. The Color Doppler mode turns on
automatically. To turn Doppler off, press the [Doppler] again.
9.1.3.1. Switching between Color Doppler, Power Doppler and Pulse Wave Doppler modes
After starting Doppler modes additional buttons will appear on the screen (Fig. 13, no 14-16). These are used to
switch between the modes and turning Doppler mode off:
[Color Doppler]
– turns Color Doppler mode on
[Power Doppler]
– turns Power Doppler mode on
[Pulse Doppler]
– turns Pulse Wave Doppler mode on

10.1. Optimizing the image parameters
10.1.1. Adjustment of signal gain [Gain 1] and [Gain 2].
[Gain 1] = overall gain
[Gain 2] = far field gain
The gain levels are presented in the form of numbers located between the buttons (as shown above). For gain 1
and 2 regulation is possible in the range from 1 to 8.
An increase of the gain value results in a brighter image. The gains are changed depending on the user's
needs, the kind of examination, the penetration depth and external light conditions.
