Presetting of the baby car seat
Before installing the baby seat in the car please adjust the belt system according to the height of
your child. The child seat „MediSafe“ has its own belt system, which can be easily adjusted accor-
ding to the height of your child. First you loosen the belt system by pressing the belt adjustment

and simultaneously pull the harness belts

to the front until it stops (Fig.
2
). To ensure an
optimal belt routing, harness belts
E
must run just above the shoulders, not too high nor too low
(Fig.
1
). Put your child into the baby seat, run the belts over the shoulders and close the buckle

By dragging the adjustment handle

(Fig.

), the headrest can be adjusted up or down. Now
drag the end piece of the belt
J
until the belt system fits tightly. Make sure that the belts are
not twisted. Please check the belt routing every few months and adjust it according to the new
height of your child.
Fixation of the baby seat “MediSafe”
The baby seat “MediSafe” is fixed with a 3-poinst safety belt, which is already existent in your car.
The seat in Group 0+ must always be positioned opposite to the direction of travelling (reboard).
In a vehicle with airbag on the passenger seat (Fig.
3
), which can not be deactivated, the seat
must be installed on the back seat. Do not use by no means another way of the seat belt installa-
tion for the seat than indicated in the instruction manual.
We advice explicitly not to use another way of the seat belt installation! Please pay at-
tention to the fact that the seat belt system is not twisted and in tense in direction to the
automatic unroll-device.
Assembly in the car
If you install the baby carrier on the passenger seat, move the seat back as far as possible and
put the backrest in the most upright position. The headrest of the car seat has to be put in the
lowest position.
Attention! The airbag of the passenger seat has to be deactivated or non existent. Refer-
ring to the passenger airbag, please contact always an official representation (car dealer)
of the concerned car brand and let them deactivate the airbag.
Attention! An airbag which is deactivated incorrectly or not deactivated at all can cause
fatal injuries to your child in case of an accident (Fig.
3
).
