Applications
Fig. 2 shows the various applications of the Digital Base Ter-
minal Package. A network illustration in Fig. 3 shows how the
Digital Base Terminal Package interfaces a TABS alarm
network to a SONET transport system. The VF ports can also
be used to "piggy-back" 202 modem data between sites in the
same network. It also shows how an order-wire can be inte-
grated into the same network using other DPS packages.
