Operation
Two telephones in one!
The Doro 1000 is two telephones in one, fi rstly, a full featured handset
including a handsfree speaker-phone plus a headset connection, in addition to
the base unit separate handsfree speaker-phone with all the necessary functions
(see page 12).
Making a call with the handset/s
1.
Enter the required number. Mistakes can be erased using x .
2.
Press

and the number is dialled.

3.
Press

to terminate the call.

Receiving a call
1.
When the handset starts to ring.

to answer the call.

to terminate the call.
Please note!
If the telephone cannot connect to a line, a warning tone will be heard. The problem may be
due to the batteries running low, the handset being too far from the base unit or all of the
transmission channels being engaged.
Redial button
The fi ve most recently dialled numbers can easily be redialled using

:
1. Press

several times until the desired number is displayed.

and the number is dialled.

Volume control
During a call, the handset volume can be adjusted to levels 1-5, with 5 being the
loudest.
1. Once the call has been connected, press for the current setting to be
displayed.
