STEP 2:
With interior panel removed, peel back the plastic water barrier enough to be
able to remove the regulator. Do not damage or discard plastic barrier, it will need to be
reinstalled.
STEP 3:
Reconnect the window switch electrical connector.
STEP 3a:
If the window motor operates, move the window into a position where you
can access the 10mm bolts that hold the window guide clamps and go to step 5. If the
window motor does not operate, go to step 4.
STEP 4:
Cut the window regulator cable
with a cable cutter so that you can manually
move the window where you can access the
window guide bolts.
STEP 5:
Loosen the 10mm window guide
bolts enough so that the window can be
separated easily from the clamps. Do not
remove the bolts or loosen all the way. The
window glass needs to be supported by the
clamps until the glass is secured.
