INI reset/Reset the device to the basic state
Consequences of an INI reset
•
The device returns to the basic state (factory setting).
•
The parameter settings are deleted.
•
The stamps are deleted.
•
The access point is blocked during the INI reset.
NOTICE
Loss of data
An INI reset deletes all saved settings and data.

Duration of the INI reset: approx. 3 s
Procedure
Signaling takes place on the registration unit.
1.
Disconnect the remote reader from the power supply.
2.
Set DIP switch 6 to
ON
.
(Switching the DIP switch when the device is still connected to the power supply will have
no effect.)
3.
Connect the remote reader to the power supply.
ð
Green and red flash after two short acoustic signals.
The remote reader LEDs flash orange.
ð
The remote reader is reset to the factory setting (for the other effects, see above,
Consequences of an INI reset).
4.
Disconnect the remote reader from the power supply.
5.
Set DIP switch 6 to
OFF
.
6.
Connect the remote reader to the power supply.
ð
The remote reader is back in operation.
7.
Load the desired configuration data on to the remote reader using the programmer.
ð
Registration unit: The visual display is illuminated green or switched off.
Remote reader: The green light of the State LED remains continuously illuminated or
flashes.
ð
The access point is ready for bookings.
