3.6.6 Condensation drainage
Fit a small drainpipe with fall to the appropriate connection for condensation
drainage at the rear of the water heater and connect this further to the water
drainage pipe.

Note
All piping behind the siphon must be condensation-resistant.
3.7 Water connections,

3.7.1 Cold water side

1. Fit an approved stop valve

on the cold water side between the water
tank

and the water heater, as required by regulations. Refer also to
paragraph 1.3 Regulations and documents .
3.7.2 Top to bottom recirculating pump
You can connect a top to bottom recirculation pump to prevent stratification of
the water in the water heater.
1. Fit a pipe (Ø 22 mm), a stop valve

Insulating long hot water pipes prevents unnecessary energy loss.

in the hot water outlet pipe, for use when servicing.
4. If a circulation pipe is to be fitted, then refer to paragraph 3.7.4 .
3.7.4 Circulation pipe

If an immediate flow of hot water is required at draw-off points, a circulation
pump can be installed. This improves comfort and reduces water wastage.
1. Fit a circulation pump

of the correct capacity for the length and resistance
of the circulation system.
2. Fit a non-return valve

direction of circulation.
3. Fit two stop valves
