3.12.3 Replacing orifices
1. Detach the protective cap van the control column:
Loosen the 4 screws and remove the protective cap by lifting it upwards. The
electrical section will now be visible.
2. Remove the strain relief

and detach the leads of the spark electrode (

=
red) and the flame probe (
c
= black) from the burner control
d
.
3. Unscrew the connector(s)

of the gas control
f
.
4. Detach the gas coupling
g
before the gas control.
5. Remove the ten screws holding the burner tray
h
in place.
6. Withdraw the burner tray from the water heater.
n Remark
When exchanging the pilot flame orifice and/of orifices:
Lay the burner tray on its side and approach it from the underside.
