Synchronizing

Your Phone

9.9 Syncing to Transfer and Manage Files

When using an ActiveSync

sync connection, you can use the Windows file manager to easily

transfer files to the phone as well as moving, copying, renaming, or deleting all of the files on

the phone. To use this function, you must first establish an ActiveSync

connection between

the phone and a computer, then activate the ActiveSync

application on the computer.

You can store your document files under the “

Mobile Device

” location, which corresponds to

the

My Documents

folder on the device; or in the

Storage Card

folder, which is your memory

card location.

If you wish to save your ring tone files, please save your MP, WMA, MIDI, AMR, or WAV

format files under the

Windows Mobile Device\Application Data\Sounds

folder.

If you wish to save your theme files, please save them under

My Windows Mobile Device\

Application Data\Home

folder.

If you wish to access documents or pictures on the mobile device, please first copy the files

into folders on the PC before viewing.
