The lid can be opened from either side or removed completely without the need of
tools as follows:

To open the lid, unlatch in the preferred opening direction, (

To remove the lid, unlatch both sides at the same time (

Lid stop position
The lid has a built-in stop position (

). Do not force the lid past the built-in stop (

Failure to observe this instruction can cause the lid to break off.

If the lid has been forced too far, follow the steps described in the
