Operation Trim Line Awning
6.2.1 Securing the Awning in the Carport
Position
Galvanized steel tent stakes and wire loops for the tent
stakes are provided to position the ground poles upright
and hold them in the ground.
This section describes how to secure the awning into the
carport position using the tent stakes.

1. Attach the provided spare sockets to the end balls
of the ground poles (to protect the end balls when
staking poles to the ground).
2. Drive the tent stakes into the ground, capturing the
wire loop with the tent stake.
6.2.2 Securing the Awning in the Patio
Position
This section describes how to secure the awning into the
patio position using previously installed sockets.

1. Extend the ground poles.
2. Insert the bottom end balls of the ground poles into
the sockets previously installed on the camper wall
above the frame.
6.3 Closing the Awning
This section describes how to close the awning and
secure it for travel.
1. To close the awning, reverse steps 1 through 5 in the
“Opening the Awning” section.
2. After closing the awning, tie the webbing straps to
hold the awning securely inside the awning bag.
3. Zip the awning bag closed for travel.
