3. Installation 

 The Domaplasma

®

 filter is designed for installation on or next to a cooker hood with 

a round outlet of 150 mm diameter or where appropriate a suitable transition piece of 120 

to 150 mm. The Domaplasma

®

 filter can be directly or indirectly installed on the outlet of 

the hood and attached to the wall using adjustable rods. 

 

Dimensions of the Domaplasma

®

The air outlets are located on three sides of the Domaplasma

®

 filter. 

Ensure that 

those three sides are not placed against the wall or ceiling when installing the 

Domaplasma

®

 filter.

 The black areas serve as air outlets. The backside, which contains 

no black air outlet, is meant to be placed against the wall or ceiling. The Domaplasma

®

 

unit must always be installed: 

a) in a vertical position, attached directly to the hood and/or attached to the wall, 

b) in a horizontal position, backside attached to the floor, 

c) in a horizontal position, backside attached to the ceiling 

 

3.1 Installation instructions

 

 

1.

 

Please ensure that the outlet manifold of your cooker hood has a direct (or indirect 

connected) diameter of 150 mm. 

2.

 

Ensure that the telescopic chimney of the wall or island cooker hood is at least 20 mm 

wider (all around) than the Domaplasma

®

 filter. In practice, the dimensions of the cross-

section of a potential upper chimney should be at least 260 mm (inside width) and 240 

mm (inside depth) (backside of the Domaplasma

®

 filter is meant to be attached directly 

to the wall, as no air is vented here). The upper chimney must be equipped with sufficient 

air vents (preferably > 600 cm

2

 free outlet openings in total), so that the air can be 

recirculated freely. 

3.

 

Remove any base and upper chimney from the cooker hood.
