A necessary repair can be only made by
an authorized service centre. Please
refer to the addresses mentioned under
item no. 10.

After repair load test hoist to at least
1.25 times the rated load and certify
again.

Brake maintenance only to be carried
out by authorized personnel.

1.) When changing brake discs, make
sure the selector switch (item # 22) is in
neutral (N) position, before dismantling
the brake side casing and lever.

2.)  When  re-assembling  brake  discs,
make  sure  that  the  ratchet  wheel,
fric tion  hub  and  brake  boss  are  free  of
grease and the pawls are fully engaged
in the ratchet wheel.
Replacing the load chain (by authorized
personnel only).

The welded sides of load chain must he
lacing upwards, away from the groove
of the lift wheel.

re-certification a general repair must be
made by an authorized repair centre
(pls refer to item no. 10)

6. Maintenance and repair

WARNING:

The pinion shaft, friction hub and
pawls are under spring pressure
and these may fly out of the unit
upon disassembly.
