IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS:

Important precautions to remember:

Never immerse in water, Never use near water and Do not put in dishwasher

Never use an abrasive sponge or cloth or scouring pad on the unit.

• 

Never leave the unit unattended while in use

• 

This unit uses hot air. Do not use butter or oil or water in the popping chamber.

• 

Do not touch hot surfaces, unit becomes hot when popcorn is popping.

• 

Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and when cleaning, allow to cool before taking off any 

• 

parts.

Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug on in the event the appliance ever 

• 

malfunctioned

DO NOT place heavy objects on top of or inside product to avoid possible damage to unit.

• 

Keep out of reach of children

• 

Never put your face near the unit while popcorn is popping. Stay at least 36 inches (1 meter) 

• 

in distance from unit while corn if popping.

Never put your hand in the unit while popcorn is popping. Wait at least 5 minutes after the unit 

• 

has been turned “off”.

To avoid over heating, add corn kernels before operating. It is recommended to allow 15 

• 

minutes between popping corn to allow unit to cool and not overheat.

Never under fill or over fill the kernel cap. Under filling the cap can cause less kernels to pop 

• 

and more hard kernels to come out of the unit during popping. Over filling can cause popped 

popcorn to burn and smoke as it is over filling the popping chamber.

Please take care of your popcorn maker as stated above. 

Before First Use

Before using the popcorn maker for the first time, it’s advisable to clean the unit and all 

accessories. When finished, wipe the appliance down with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse the 

unit in water or any other liquid. For detailed cleaning instructions, see ‘Cleaning’ section below. 

Unpacking your popcorn maker.

1.  Carefully unpack the unit and remove all packaging materials before initial use.
2.  Unwrap the power cord at the back of the unit.
3.  Check that the rated voltage is the same as stated on the label on the back of the unit.  

Connect the appliance to a suitable electric socket.

NOTE:

  Always clean and dry thoroughly the unit before use.

Cleaning:

•  Before cleaning the appliance, it is essential to turn off the switches and then pull the plug 

out of the socket.

•  Never immerse the appliance in water!
•  Do not attempt to access any internal parts of the appliance.
•  To clean the outer surface, simply wipe this unit with a damp cloth. Do not use any scouring 

pads or abrasive cleaners as these will result in scratches to the unit.

•  Wipe the interior of the unit with a dry cloth.  Do not allow any water into the popping 

chamber, as this will damage the unit.

•  All removable parts on the popcorn maker should be detached and cleaned in warm soapy 

water at regular intervals.

Storage:

•  When the appliance is not in use, remove the plug from the wall socket and store the 

appliance in a dry place out of reach of children.
