Switching the character mode
Each time you tap on a character entry
screen, the character mode switches in the
order of "Hiragana-Kanji"

"Half-width Alphabet"
u
"Half-width Numeric".
Note
• In some character entry screens, certain
character modes may not be available or
selectable.
Entering pictograms/symbols/
emoticons
Tap in a character entry screen to switch to
pictogram/symbol/emoticon input mode, and
display the available pictograms on the display.
Tap "Symbol" and "Emoticon" to display
respectively the available symbols and emoticons.
Tap one of the available symbols or emoticons
to enter it.
Tap "文字" to return to the character entry
screen.
Using Emoji Quick
You can display the Emoji Quick to input
pictogram quickly by swiping the keyboard
from left to right.
• The pictogram history is displayed up to
30. Every time when you input pictograms,
the pictograms displayed in Emoji Quick will
changed, as well as their oder.
