Searching for a Route
You can view a detailed route to your
destination.

From the Maps screen,

Enter your departure point in
"Start point*

• You can also select your Start point and
End point by tapping to the right of
their respective boxes to display a menu
and then choosing from "My current
location*

", "Contacts", "Point on map"
and "My Places*

*1 "My Location" is entered in "Start point"
box.
*2 If "My Location" is entered in "Start
point" box or "End point" box, it will not
be displayed even if you tap of the
other box.

"Fewer transfers" and "Less walking".

• A list of routes to your destination appears.

Tap one of the routes
• The selected route appears.
Note
• If the routes are searched by car or on
foot, the routes are displayed on the map.
• When routes are searched via Public
transportation agencies, route choices
are displayed under "End point". Tap any
one of the routes and details concerning
travel times and transfer for trains,
station names and fares are displayed.
• Tap to search for routes according to
"Departure time", "Arrival time" and "Last
available time".
• When search a route by mass transit
system, tap "Show earlier trips" or "Show
later trips", to search for routes at earlier
or later times. Also, when routes are
searched via Car or On foot, tap
to display the changes in directions for
the points on the routes on the maps.
