Character Entry

Switching Input Method

Tap the text entry field
The keypad is displayed.

Select the input method to use

• When you activate the keypad, the character

entry operation icon

appears in the right

part of the status bar at the bottom of the

screen.

• You can also switch the input method by

displaying the home screen

Tap the text entry field
The keypad is displayed.

• When you activate Quick Handwriting for the

first time, a pop-up guide is displayed. Tap

[Close] after you confirm the guide. If you do

not want the pop-up guide to reappear from the

next activation, tap [Don't ask me again.] and

tap [Close].
