service, and check/delete registered
numbers.
Public mode (power off)
Public mode (power off) is an automatic
response service dedicated to etiquette
required in highly public locations. When
Public mode is enabled and the terminal is
powered off, a message is played to callers,
telling that you cannot answer the call
because you are in a situation where you
have to power off the phone (e.g., you are
in a hospital or airplane, or close to a
priority seat in a train), and the call is
automatically terminated.
A Public mode (power off) message is played

when outside service range or in a place with
poor signal reception.
The Voice mail service* and Call forwarding
⿟
service* take precedence over Public mode
(power off).
* When the ring time is not set to 0 second, the
services operate after the Public mode (power
off) message to incoming calls.

Activate service······ Enter Public mode
(power off).
Deactivate service······ Quit Public mode
(power off).
