The FOMA terminal has various functions used by entering
characters, such as phonebook and mail. Enter characters with
the keyboard of the FOMA terminal.
To enter hiragana, kanji, or katakana, use romaji.
When operating an application with vertical view, you may enter
characters by touching the keyboard displayed on the screen.

predicted by conversion history and
dictionaries, and appear.
When a single-byte alphabet is entered,
English words which start with the entered
character appear.

of the next word are predicted and appear.
When you select an English word from
them, a space is automatically entered and
next candidates appear (When you select
a single-byte symbol [.?!:;], the
automatically entered space is deleted and
next candidates do not appear).
