sTeP 3 Press the DOWN button until Set Configuration is highlighted, then press the ENTER button.
sTeP 4 Press the DOWN button until Set FTP Server is highlighted, then press the ENTER button.
sTeP 5 Press the UP or DOWN buttons to set the value for the first digit of the first octet, then press the RIGHT
button to move the second digit of the first octet.
sTeP 6 Press the UP or DOWN buttons to set the value for the second digit of the first octet, then press the
RIGHT button to move to the third digit of the first octet.
sTeP 7 Press the UP or DOWN buttons to set the value for the third digit of the first octet, then press the
RIGHT button to move the first digit of the second octet.
sTeP 8 Repeat steps 5 – 7 for the remaining octets, then press the ENTER button to accept the change.

Testing the Network settings
The Test Network Connect option allows you to verify your ProFusion M5 is properly connected to your net-
work, and its network settings are correct. This will allow the ProFusion M5 to successfully connect at its
designated time.
Performing a Test Network Connect from the Title/Artist screen:
sTeP 1 Press the ENTER button to access the Control Panel menu system.
sTeP 2 Press the DOWN button until
Network Control is highlighted, then press the ENTER button.
sTeP 3 Press the DOWN button until the Set Configuration option is highlighted, then press the ENTER button.
sTeP 4 Press the DOWN button until the Test Network Connect option is highlighted, then press the ENTER
button to initiate a test. If the test is successful, the control panel will display FTP Test Successful .
If the Test Network Connect fails, verify your network settings are correct (see p. 17) and your net-
work firewall is configured properly (see p. 16). Contact DMX Customer Service if further assistance is
needed (see p. 25).
Updating Via Network
Viewing the Update status
The View Update Status option displays the current connectivity status of the ProFusion M5. If the ProFusion
M5 is not currently connected, the View Update Status will display the results of the last connection attempt.
Accessing the View Update Status from the Title/Artist screen:
