Main menu > System setting > Antenna Power

In this menu item you can select whether the
connected antenna is to be provided with an
operating voltage (5V, 50A max.) from the
device. This is necessary only when you want to
use an active antenna, i.e. one with built-in
booster. The enclosed antenna is passive. That is
why while using it, it must be set to “OFF”.

ATTENTION

: Even when you are using an active antenna with the device that has its own

power supply, “OFF” MUST be selected in this menu item, otherwise the device will be
damaged.

Main menu > System setting > Factory Default

If you want to reset the entire settings of the device to the default status, then activate “YES”
in this menu item. All the settings you made before will be deleted. Afterwards the assistant
for first-time installation is once again at your disposal.

desired values for brightness, contrast and colour
of the picture according to your personal
preferences.

Instructions for the built-in battery

The device has a built-in rechargeable battery. Please take note of the following instructions
for it:

1. As soon as the device is provided with power through the power adaptor, the battery is

charged. As long as the operating mode display on the right hand side of the device is sho-
wing a green light, the battery is being charged.

2. Before the first start–up, the battery should be fully charged. During charging the on/off

button should be in “OFF” position. It takes 4-5 hours to fully charge a battery.

3. During charging process, the battery heats up. This is normal.

4. With a fully charged battery, you can run the device for approx. 2 hours.

5. In case of a weak battery, the device shuts down on its own.

6. The built-in battery should never be drained, as that would lower its performance and life

span. The battery is drained when you don’t use the device for a long time. Therefore we
suggest you to activate the battery mode once in a month and to let it run till the battery is
empty. Thereafter recharge the battery once again.
