Q. Message on TV says “No Signal”
A. No or Low Signal can be the cause of this problem and it can be due to either or all of:
1.
Faulty Aerial Set up
2.
Aerial set for wrong polarity
3.
Cables too old and damaged
4.
Poor joints in cable
5.
Split into too many rooms
6.
If using Rabbit ear or indoor antenna
7.
Not enough signal at the location
Q. Some Channels are missing
A. It will be due to reasons 1 ~ 6 as above
Q. How do i set the time
A. You cannot adjust the time, your unit will automatically update the time from the transmitter.
(The unit needs to have good UHF freeview signal to update the time)
Q. Pixellation in Live Picture
A. Press Info button twice on remote control, this will give the quality level. Good signals have Quality
Levels >70% and Signal>70%. If they are below 70% then check set up for above 1 ~ 6 faults
Q. Cannot watch Prime TV when recording TV1 and TV3
A. Freeview|HD signal is transmitted on 3 x different frequencies, with dual tuner receivers you can
only tune to and record 2 x frequencies at a time and hence channels on the other frequencies are
not available until 2nd tuner is free.
