4.3 Replacing the hygienic
exhaust filter
1. Switch the appliance off and observe the instructions
under
Z
Chapter 3.2, "Switching off and retracting the
power cable" .
2. Release the exhaust filter cover on the recessed handle
provided for this purpose (Fig. 29/1) and remove it.
3. Remove the hygienic exhaust filter (Fig. 30).
4. Clean the hygienic exhaust filter or if it is very dirty
replace it with a new one (order number:
Z
Chapter 8,
"Spare parts" ).
5. Place the clean/new hygienic exhaust filter back into its
receptacle.
6. Then insert the exhaust filter cover by hooking it in from
above first (Fig. 31/a). Lock the cover by pressing firmly
until it audibly and noticeably clicks into place
(Fig. 31/b).
NOTE:
The hygienic exhaust filter is not washable.
If it is only slightly dirty, it can also suffice to knock the
exhaust filter over a dustbin. However, we recommend
you replace the filter regularly.
NOTE:
It may be necessary to push a bit harder.
Make sure when doing this that the cover clicks fully into
place behind both projections provided for this purpose
(Fig. 32). Otherwise the cover and possibly even the
exhaust filter will fall out easily.
