Troubleshooting

Before you send in the appliance
See if you can solve the problem yourself by
following the steps of the table below.

WARNING:
Danger of injury! Never use or charge a
defective appliance! Always switch off the
appliance and disconnect it from the mains
before starting troubleshooting .
Problem
Possible cause / solution
The ap-
pliance
will not
start or
sudden-
ly stops
running.
The batteries are empty.
Charge the batteries (
Z
Chapter
3.2, "Charging the batteries"
).
The overheating protection has
tripped (possibly due to blocked
suction channels, filters, or simi-
lar).
1.
Switch off the appliance.
2.
Remove the cause of the over-
heating.
3.
Wait for about 45 minutes. Af-
ter the appliance has cooled
off, you may switch it on again.
The batteries are fully charged.
Disconnect the mains adapter
from the socket and from the ap-
pliance. Your hand-held vacuum
cleaner is now ready for use.
Problem
Possible cause / solution
The
charging
indica-
tion light
is not lit
during
charging
The mains adapter is not plugged
in. Check if the plug and the
mains adapter are fitted correctly
in their sockets (

On/off switch ("

position. Switch off the appliance

The ap-
pliance
does not
pick up
dust
The dust container is full. Empty
the dust container (

).
The filter elements are dirty.
Clean the filter elements
(

filter elements"
).
When using the mini turbo brush:
The roller brush might be blocked
by hair, lint, etc.
Clean the roller brush until it runs
freely again.
