Usage of the outputs

Four semiconductor outputs are available on the motion monitoring module. The supply for
outputs O1 and O3 is clamp P1, clamp P2 is the supply for O2 and O4.
The outputs may be configured using the parameter layer to the following:

Clock output

supply for cross-circuiting detection in safety circuits,

E1

E2

No virtual wiring possible

Single outputs

individually activated by T11,T12,T21,T22 .

Note: T11 /T12 and T21/T22 only visible, if this mode is selected in the

parameter layer.

Control:

O1 by T11, O2 by T12, O3 by T21,and O4 by T22

Paired outputs

Safe outputs to duplicate dual channel contacts.

Parallel or antivalent switching may be selected.

Control:

O1 , O2 by S1 and O3 , O4 by S2

If antivalent switching is selected, O1 and O3 switch on by activation,

O2 and O4 switch off by activation of the corresponding S1, S2 input.

Note: The virtual clamps S1 and S2 are displayed in the wiring layer only if

the function paired output is selected in the parameter layer.

Mixed usage of outputs is possible.

Note:

All outputs will be monitored constantly for wrong behavior independent of the func-

tion. If an error is detected on one of the outputs, all outputs will be switched off.

DNSL-DR

has only 2 outputs O1 and O2. All criteria given above apply to these outputs too.

LED Indicators:

The left LED in the LED block is light if the virtual DZ1 contact is closed.

The right LED is light if the virtual contact DZ2 is closed.

All other LED indicate the presence of 24V on the corresponding terminals.

Malfunctions correction:

Remove and reinsert module and switch supply power off and on. Switching the supply

power off and on, will clear saved errors.
