10 Faults / troubleshooting
This heat pump is a quality product and is designed for trouble-
free operation. If you cannot correct the fault yourself, please
contact your after-sales service technician.
ATTENTION!
Any work on the heat pump must only be performed by an authorised and
qualified after-sales service technician.
10.1 Troubleshooting
The symptoms listed below do not
indicate a malfunction.
Check the following points before contacting the after-sales service.
The operating LED flashes and an error code appears on the
operator panel display.
 Switch the device off and inform your retailer of the error
code.
 As soon as an error code appears, the timer function is
deactivated.
Emergency heating operation button
 The indoor unit's supplementary heating can be used as an
emergency heater if the outdoor unit experiences a fault.
Press to switch emergency heating operation on.
 Press to switch emergency heating operation off
again.

During emergency heating operation, no other
operations may be performed.
Symptom Possible cause
Operation takes around 5 minutes to resume after a restart.

This is a mechanism intended to protect the device.
The outdoor unit does not work.

If the external temperature is outside the operating range,
the heat pump system activates protective functions.
The system does not heat properly.

The air inlet / outlet openings on the outdoor unit may be blocked by
snow.

If the hot water outlet temperature is set too low, it is possible that
the required heat output will not be achieved.
The device starts to operate after a power failure.

This is the automatic device restart feature.
Symptom Possible cause
The device does not heat properly.

Set the temperature correctly.

Is the radiator valve closed?

Ensure that the air inlet and outlet openings
of the outdoor unit are not obstructed.
The device is noisy when running.

Check whether the device has been installed tilted
or whether the cover is not properly closed.
The device does not work.

Check whether the circuit breaker has tripped.
The operating LED does not light up or the display on the
operator panel is blank. 
Has the power supply been interrupted or has the power failed?
