5.3 Regular Maintenance
DIMA advises her customers to have a DIMA authorized service engineer to check the
HYBRID once every half year, to perform maintenance according to the following 2-year
maintenance cycle, see checklist further in this section. The following items correspond with
the numbers in the checklist.
1 Clean exterior of HYBRID :

Clean it with a fibre free cloth with a non aggressive detergent.
2 Clean interior; coating head and working area :

Clean the coating head, and the conveyor or static work holder. Remove all dirt in the
working area, also under the conveyor or static work holder.
3 Check Emergency Switches :

Check the function of the Emergency Switches by testing them both on a switched-on
machine.
4 Check all doors and door locks :

Check the visibility of the doors, clean them if necessary. Visibility is essential!

Check the lock function of the door locks. Lock the doors in the software and try to
open the doors.
5 Check LED illumination at camera :

Check the LED ring around the camera for function and damage. Move the illumination
slider (in the software) up and down.
6 Check light tower :

Check the light tower for function.
7 Check machine pressure :

Check if the machine pressure is present in the machine and if it is at the required
level; 6 – 6,5 bar. Via the software (via View , open Pressure Window – or Ctrl+Alt+G
and check the pressure of Main and click Test , click again to stop testing).
8 Check air pressure regulator/ filter unit :

Check the air pressure regulator/ filter unit on the bottom of the HYBRID. Empty if
necessary. Take care not to spill deposits inside the machine. Clean the bowl
thoroughly and reassemble.
9 Check all air equipment and air lines :

Check all air equipment (connectors, valves and tools) and all air lines for leakage.
Also check function if possible.

Check if the sound absorbers are not clogged. Clean if necessary.
