3.13 Embedded

Software

This Section shows an overview of the latest embedded software (ES). Refer to the release
notes of the HybridC Software to see if the embedded software in the machine at hand
matches the HybridC software currently installed in the machine. If it doesn’t match, the
embedded software must be updated to the latest version.

NOTE:

ES Version 2.2 can only be used in combination with application software Version

the DIP-switch for handling problems with changing the
communication channel.



Combined XY movement were performed at a up to 40 %

higher speed than set in the library. This bug is removed.

Heights of area segments were not taken into account.

Area heights were always 0. This bug has been fixed.



Improved speed limiting for Z-trackball mode.



Fixed a bug in the trackball mode for the Z-axis. The

speed was limited too early when reaching one of the
limits. Therefore moving nearby a limit position was very
hard. Controller could reset for certain arc segments.

3.14

Additional Revision Information

This section shows an overview of the distinctions between the various machine numbers.

3.14.1 General

The machine with serial number 601200600005 is equipped with the HC-100-SS-50 stepper
motors for the X, Y, Z, and

Φ

instead of the HC-100-SS-53. When replacement is required,

use the HC-100-SS-53.

The machines with serial number 601200600002 till 601200600004, 600200700001, and
600200700002 are equipped with the HC-100-SS-50 stepper motors for the Z and

Φ

instead

of the HC-100-SS-53. When replacement is required, use the HC-100-SS-53.

At machine with serial number 601200600005 an old type mounting bracket (HC-100-1920)
is mounted at the back side of the machine. At this mounting bracket, no LAN connection is
available and there is no dedicated place for an USB connector (i.e. used for weighing
scale).
