3.4 BATTERY INSTALLATION

The stand-by battery is installed on the lower shelf of the cabinet.

3.5 POWER-UP

3.5.1 AC POWER

With the AC circuit breaker or local power disconnect switch in the OFF position,
connect the AC power wires to the transformer input terminal strip. Then apply AC
power to the DGM.

3.5.2 DC POWER

Connect the battery cable supplied with the DGM to the battery. It is important to
carefully observe polarity when connecting the battery cable to the Battery terminal
lugs. (RED=positive, BLACK=negative).
