Running the Software 

 

To run the DS8R software, double-click on the “DS8R” shortcut icon which has been placed on the 
desktop for ease of access.  Within a few seconds you should be presented with a graphical 
representation of the DS8R front panel controls.  If the DS8R software displays the “rotating gears” 
screen (see below) for more than a couple of seconds, please check the DS8R is powered on 
connected via the USB cable. 

 

 

 

If the DS8R is powered on and connected to the PC, but the screen above persists, please check the 
Windows Device Manager to confirm that the DS8R driver has been correctly installed.
