6.5.3 Firmware Upgrade

To start the software’s remote firmware upgrade for a single site:

Right-click on the site from the site’s list and select Firmware Upgrade.

1. Connect to the DVR by confirming the IP address, port number, username and password and pressing ‘Connect’.

2. Press ‘Open’ and locate the new firmware file for the DVR.

3. DEVICE Name/ Current Version will display the DVR’s model and current version information.

4. New Version to Upgrade will display the new firmware version.

5. Press ‘Start Upgrade’. The status bar will indicate the upgrade process.

6. You can also refer to the upgrade status window for text status updates.

7. When the upgrade process is completed, “Upgrade Completed” message will appear
