Phone numbers programmed in DS512 are exempted from typing DSPIN
in SMS commands.
The return SMS on command, contains device and firmware version (xxxx
yyyy, e.g. 0012 0106) in order to facilitate technical support.
Described below are the SMS commands executed by Tytangps Alarm DS512.
DS512 can be set to service mode, in which the device does not give any
notifications about alarming. If DS512 works as stand-alone VSS it can not be
armed when in service / valet mode, vehicle is not protected and can not be
immobilised.
Enabling and disabling service / valet mode can be done by SMS
commands. The service /valet mode of DS512 can be enabled at any moment:
when system is armed, when system is currently alarming or system is disarmed.
Enabling this mode can be used as emergency disarming of system (e.g. if OEM
key is broken). When this mode is enabled the LED gives fast 2 blinks every
1,5 seconds.
Disabling the service / valet mode is signalised by 5 siren chirps.

REMOTE VEHICLE IMMOBILISER (ANTI-HIJACK)
The use of remote anti-hijack functions is permitted only outside EU, where the
reg. 97 UN ECE does not apply. Otherwise the homologation of Tytangps Alarm
DS512 becomes invalid.
If the anti-hijack function was enabled during installation of DS512 the remote
immobiliser of vehicle can be started with SMS command:

When DS512 received this command the anti-hijack procedure starts. The LED
lights with constant light, audible and visible signalisations are enabled (siren
and hazard lights). 25 seconds after anti-hijack procedure was initialised the
vehicle engine is being immobilised by immobilised circuit.
Anti-hijack procedure does not have any time limit - audible signalisation,
visible signalisation and engine immobiliser are enabled until receiving SMS with
anti-hijack termination command.

Both commands are confirmed by DS512 with a return SMS with vehicle status.
Alternative method to end the anti-hijack procedure is to enable the service / valet mode.
Dedicated SMS command allows to change the DSPIN which protects the
SMS commands to be executed in DS512 and also allows to set the phone
numbers which would be notified in case of alarm trigger. 0, 1, 2 or 3 phone
number can be programmed.
