The delay may be a result of starting the GPS receiver and fixing vehicle GPS
position. By default the GPS receiver is disabled when device is armed. After
fixing the vehicle position and detailed SMS is sent:

The link can be opened in web browser on smartphone, tablet or other
mobile device. It leads to an online map with GPS vehicle position marked. If the
mobile device don’t have internet access the link can be copied to personal
computer. It is also possible to copy the position coordinates to any localisation
platform to check the vehicle position.
If fixing the vehicle position is not possible at the moment (e.g. vehicle parked
in underground parking), the device will send last known position of vehicle and
the time at which the position was saved (in format UTC+0,00, that is GMT).

ALARM TRIGGER SMS NOTIFICATION
After the voice call notification cycle the DS512 attempts to notify up to 3
mobile phone numbers with SMS messages.
SMS notification contains information about alarm source and an
announcement about SMS with vehicle position (only if DS512 is equipped
with additional external GPS module). SMS notification of the siren
signalisation is sent not more often then every 30 seconds, while in alarm
mode violation of each input generates only one SMS notification in single
hazard lights signalisation cycle.
GENERAL SMS COMMANDS OPERATION PRINCIPLE
Tytangps Alarm DS512 allows to execute number of commands remotely by
simple SMS commands sent from any mobile phone. A return SMS is sent by
DS512 to confirm receiving of the command. Each SMS command needs to
contain a PIN-code called DSPIN in order to prevent unauthorised use (not to be
confused with SIM-card PIN code). Default DSPIN is 12345. SMS commands can
be typed with capital or small letters (e.g. status or STATUS), however they
capital and small letters should not be mixed (e.g. sTaTUS). Typing commands
with capital letter is allowed (e.g. Status). DS512 does not respond with a return
SMS if an incorrect DSPIN is sent with command. If incorrect command is sent to
DS512 it will respond:

In particular case the last known position may be not defined, e.g. first start
of DS512 after installation in vehicle or GPS module was not activated after the
installation. In this case DS512 sends a return SMS:
Unable to fix vehicle position.
No last known position.
Due to the possibility to operate the DS512 with dedicated Android and iOS
TytanGPS mobile application the SMS with alarm status and vehicle position may
contain ceded information starting with ## marks. This information shall be ignored.
