Step Action
1 Connect the cable from the power supply to the power
connector
 
on the back of the module. Use only the
H7867-AA power supply.

Plug the ac power supply cable

into the power supply, then
into a wall outlet.
3 Upon receiving power, verify that the module’s Power LED
lights immediately, the Module OK LED lights within five
seconds, and that the module performs a self-test. The self-test
should complete in 25 seconds for a module with 4MB of
memory and 67 seconds for a module with 16MB of memory.
After the module completes self-test, the Power LED , the
Module OK LED , and the Network OK LED remain lit.
The Network Activity LED blinks at a rate proportional to
the amount of activity on the port.
NOTE: If the LEDs do not operate as described, refer to the section
titled Problem Solving Using the LEDs .

Attach the ThinWire T-connector
ƒ ƒ
to the BNC network
connector and turn the connector one-quarter turn
clockwise until it locks into place. Terminate the
connection with a 50-ohm terminator or extend the
Ethernet segment to the next device.
To disconnect the ThinWire T-connector, turn the
connector one-quarter turn counter-clockwise until the
connector clears the BNC connector stem, then
disconnect the cable.
