10. Network Viewer and Image Viewer

This section provides instructions for installing and using the Network Viewer, and Image Viewer software,

which are included with the 4CH DVR. The minimum requirements for this function are as follows:

1. Intel Pentium 233MHz or greater.

2. 32 MB RAM

3. Window 95, 98, NT, and ME.

4. 4 MB Video card capable of 24-bit true color display.

5. 5 MB free hard-disk space for software installation.

6. 10-base T network for LAN operation.

10.1 The Network Viewer

10.1.1 Introduction to Network Viewer

The Network Viewer allows you to potentially access 16 4CH DVR’s from a remote desktop or laptop in a

TCP/IP networking environment. It can perform the following functions.

View live images from the 4CH DVR

Store, search, and review recorded video from the 4CH DVR HDD.

Change the regular record, event record, and timer properties.

Before you are ready to view images from a desktop, you need to have your 4CH DVR networked by

obtaining a 10 baseT Ethernet data cable (Standard RJ-45) to connect the 4CH DVR to your LAN/WAN.
