Only the IP address (

RouterPub_IP@

) of the studio are known by the user. These are
the ​ Public address and port of the studio router/firewall ​ . The user will place a call from the remote codec to
this address and port.
The studio codec is installed in the studio IP infrastructure and has an IP address (

IQOYA_IP@
​
) and audio
listening port ( ​ IQOYAInPort ​ ). These are the ​ Private address and port of the codec within the studio IP
network ​ .

Now, you’ll need to
​ kindly ​
ask your IT administrator to perform some
​ port opening ​
on your network router /
firewall. The goal is that all audio packets sent by the remote codec to your studio public address is forwarded to
your codec within the studio infrastructure.
In the router, enter the port forwarding menu of the router to define the following
​ forwarding rule for UDP
streams
