Battery Charger Test
If the battery charger is a type “IVRA” model c-Go: Use tool parr number 397904 for testing. Follow the in-
structions in the dongle’s user manual.
This test method requires batteries that are not fully charged, 12 to 12.5V are ideal.
You will need to measure voltage DC.
This simple methode requires the voltmeter set to range to read 24Vdc and test leads
Turn „OFF“ the scooter.
Make batteries accessible for the voltmeter‘s probes, place probes on terminals of battery 1, and of bat-
tery 2, of serial connected batteries. leave the probes attached/connected.
Connect the charger‘s plug to the charging receptable on the scooter.
Use the voltmeter to read the voltage from the series connected batteries and note it

Read the DC voltage, it should be quite high (as much as 31.5 Vdc) at the very beginning of the charge and
then come to fluctiate around 28V.
Note tzhe voltmeter's readings and compare to "Expected Value".

Battery charging  > 27.5 Vdc
Case The voltmeter‘s reading while the batteries are charging is not higher and
slightly fluctuating then the reading without charging.
Solution Replacement of the battery charger
CONTROLLER
Faulty Controller
In case of a controller failure, the controller must be replaced. The controller cannot be repaired by 2nd parties.
Controller failures are extremly rare.
Diagnosis by the Controller
An abnormal condition may be indicated by a flash code on the Status output. A Flash Code is a sequence
of flashes, separated by a pause, followed by a repetition of the sequence. Additionally, Flash Codes may be
sounded by connecting a beeper to a suitably programmed output and setting the Flash Code Beeper parame-
ter to ‚Yes‘. Depending on the condition, the scooter may or may not allow driving. In some cases driving may
be allowed but in a reduced speed („limp“) mode.
