Mechanical Combination Lock
Mechanical combination locks use a predetermined set of numbers to open the
door of the safe. A mechanical combination lock also has a keylocking feature
that prevents the dial from rotating until it is unlocked with the key.
Electronic Combination Lock
Electronic locks have a keypad for entering the combination. Different versions
of the lock use a single combination, a dual combination, or a remote access
feature to unlock the door of the safe.
Mechanical Keylock
The mechanical keylock is an optional second lock that can be used with the
mechanical combination lock or the electrical combination lock.
Handle for Opening the Safe
A handle on the safe is used with single mechanical combination locks and with
electronic combination locks. The handle releases the door of the safe after the
correct combination is entered on the keypad of the lock.
Section 3.6.1 through Section 3.6.8 describe how to open these locking systems.
