– meaning of the status lights

Status button

Off

: unit off or processing a tag

Continuously red

: active label

Short red

: error when "Red on error" is active

Continuously green

: no (active) label or previous action succeeded "Red on
Error" is active

Flashing red/green

: more than one labels in on the LCS pro while only one is
allowed

Flashing red and Lending blue

: RFID active, but no RFID label

flashing green and lending blue

: RFID active, but RFID label does not contain valid data

Red and lending and returning blue : RFID write error

Lending button

Off

: unit in host mode

Blue

: Lending (deactivation) mode

Flashing

: discussed with Status

Returning button

Off

: unit in host mode

Blue

: Returning (activation) mode

Flashing

: discussed with Status

To start a

conversion

, first place the book on the LCS-pro, then scan the new barcode

Status button after presenting the book:
Red or green

: label is active or inactive (EAS or AFI on or off)

Status after scanning the barcode:
Off

: writing new identifier to the RFID label

Status after conversion complete:
Red or green

: label is active or inactive (EAS or AFI on or off)

If the conversion fails the buzzer will sound.
