INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORKING AT LOADING DOCKS
WARNING
Only the hydraulic ramps type DH-AR4 are adapted to load and unload at loading docks.
Improper use of the hydraulic ramp may result in damage, premature wear or failure of the hydraulic ramp, and will increase
the risk of serious injury or death to the operator and other persons nearby.
In order to maximize the durability, ensure long-term reliability of the hydraulic ramp, and protect operators and bystanders
from serious bodily injury or death, the operator must comply with the loading instructions and safe working procedures below.
When using the DH-AR4* hydraulic ramp platform as a bridge plate between the loading floor of the vehicle and the loading dock,
follow the instructions below.
Make sure you ALWAYS reverse slowly, to avoid heavy impact of the hydraulic ramp against the loading dock. Failure to do so
can cause severe damage to the hydraulic ramp and the vehicle body.
ALWAYS make sure the foldable point is rigidly fixed to the platform main section by means of the platform fold lock (or equivalent
means).
Make sure the outboard platform lip rests on the loading dock by more than ¾ of its length. See image below.
If the vehicle suspension changes height, ALWAYS use the electrical controls to tilt the platform and rest it flat on the loading
dock.
