Parking Brake
If you have to park your car for a long
time in the area with outdoor temperature
lower than 0℃. Don’t use parking brake to
avoid being freezing. For parking safety:
park your car on the flat road as far as
possible, and set the gear shifting knob to
P gear position.
Protection against Corrosion
The chemicals for ice removing used on
road are corrosive, and will speed up
corroding and aging chassis components
(including brake pipeline, floor and wheel
fender).
In winter, regularly clean the chassis. For
further details, refer to “Protection against
Corrosion” in “VIII. Appearance and
Maintenance”.
Other rust-proof and anti-corrosion actions
may be prohibited in some areas, so please
consult the local Chongqing Jinkang
dealers.
