M.2 Slot
The M.2 slot on the top side of the system board is used to install M.2 (NGFF) modules. The
socket supports both M.2 Type 2242 and 2280 (Key B) form factors and can be inserted with
either a SATA SSD card or a PCIe NVMe card. Please note that the PCIe Gen 2.0 x1 bandwidth
is capable of up to 500MB/s transfer speed whereas the SATA 3.0 can provide up to 600MB/s
transfer speed. To switch between PCIe and SATA signals for the M.2 slot, refer to Chapter 4
Jumper Settings.
PCI Express Slot (Gen 2.0 x1)
Install a PCI Express card such as network cards that comply to the PCI Express specifications
into the PCI Express x1 (Gen 2.0) slot.
Mini PCI Express Slot
The Mini PCIe socket is used to install a Mini PCIe card to provide the system’s with wireless
communications capability.
