Flash EPROM Voltage

The G586OPA supports 5 Volt and 12 Volt Flash
EPROM. Set Jumper J16 according to the voltage of the
Flash EPROM installed on the system board. Refer to
page 2-7 for the locaton of the Flash EPROM.

Jumper J17

PS/2 Mouse

The G586OPA package includes a card-edge bracket
with serial and mouse port. The PS/2 mouse port uses
IRQ12. If you set Jumper J17 to IRQ12 enable, make
sure you connect the PS/2 mouse port to Connector JP9.
When IRQ12 is disabled and a PS/2 mouse is not used,
the IRQ12 interrupt is available for other devices.

Off: IRQ12 Disabled

On: IRQ12 Enabled
